Ongoing Learning

After taking up photography more than 15 years ago, I have learned that there is no end to learning and growing as a Photographer. Learning, and especially in photography, is the process of understanding that you can always know more, you can never know everything. Sure, you may understand how the fundamentals will affect your images, but the reality is that there will always be newer and more creative ways to express your image. Never stop growing.

I have found that the first person you should impress is yourself. Others may or may not be impressed by your work, that doesn’t matter as much as finding your own photographic vision to be first something that you are proud of. After all, you are you strongest critic.
